Laugh and the world laughs with you! Although it is important to be serious and focused on many key areas of your life, having a good laugh and enjoying the journey to success, not just the destination, is proven to be extremely good for your health. One scientific study shows that three five-second laughs each day may ward off illness by strengthening the body’s immune system. Having a good sense of humor and not taking yourself too seriously are also leadership traits and a catalyst for quality relationships.

Lack of laughter can breed depression, which is merely anger without enthusiasm. Our actions can control our emotions; if you are feeling down, find a way to laugh and watch your emotions quickly change for the better! Watch a funny television show or movie; read comics or a joke book; associate with people with a sense of humor that you enjoy.
