Gratitude is one of the easiest ways to improve your attitude; it doesn't take a lot of time and it doesn't cost any money. Our time on the planet is limited. Most of us are continually bogged down with projects, relationships, financial worries, and so on. In reality, the only people without problems are six feet under. How you deal with problems in your own life will determine your day-to-day level of happiness. Being grateful each and every day is a simple, immediate method to generate happiness.
As we begin to acknowledge the opportunities and blessings in each experience, we discover a profound, simple key: the power of lovingly accepting everything and everyone as is. Affix your days with a loving acceptance of life, dismiss fear-based attitudes and discover how liberating it is to live without judgement, in complete appreciation of the perfection of everything and everyone.
When you are thankful for everything in your life, you will want to enrich the lives of others so they may be thankful as you are. In this way, your gratitude promotes an attitude of giving. Whether your gifts are material or verbal, or even if you give a thought, you will touched as you bring smiles to the faces of others.
Gratitude Rituals The following gratitude rituals will have an immediate impact on your life. Although the Truestar Way directs you to do this first thing in the morning and before bed, if you find yourself extremely stressed anytime during the day, this ritual will be helpful. |

Morning Ritual When you awaken, take five minutes to count your blessings, including your health, the special people in your life and even the fact that you have been granted with another day to make a difference. Along with your morning gratitude, make a commitment to greet each day and the people you encounter with love in your heart. As we rush through each day and get caught up in daily demands, we forget to stop and recognize the wonderful opportunities we have, the true miracle of simply being on the planet and having the opportunity to make a difference just by greeting the people we meet with love in our hearts. By acknowledging the amazing natural universe that surrounds us, we start each day with a more positive outlook. Just spending five minutes each morning being grateful, rather than lamenting, "Not another day at work," can dramatically improve your attitude for the day.

Evening Gratitude Being grateful for simply being granted another day is a humble yet powerful skill of personal development. A five-minute bedtime review of the people, opportunities and even challenges you have been blessed with allows you to put the day into a positive perspective, leading to a calm state and preparing you for a quality night's sleep.
