Confirm the Browser Supports 128-Bit Encryption

A 128-bit security certificate is required to connect to most of the secure sites on the Internet.

To check to see if you have 128-bit encryption:

Double-click the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop to open Internet Explorer.

On the Internet Explorer toolbar, click Help, then click About Internet Explorer.
Check the Cipher Strength. If the Cipher Strength is lower than 128-bit, click Update Information, and then follow the on-screen instructions.
